Courses may be booked directly from the courses pages of this website or by post using the booking forms below or from the current Glossop Guild brochure. Brochure copies may be obtained either from your local library or from Bradbury Community House. In case of difficulty you can contact us by email using the "contact " page.
Because the Guild does not have reserve funds, it has to guard against having to pay cancellation fees. For this reason, we ask that if possible you honour the early booking deadlines, so ensuring that courses will be viable. Deadlines are often extended for courses which prove viable but are not initially fully booked. Sometimes capacity is limited, either by the facilities available at the venue or in the interests of a successful interactive course. Occasionally if bookings are very low it might be necessary to cancel a course. The best way to ensure that a course will run and that you have a place on it is by booking early. Despite these uncertainties, most courses do run, either because they are well-subscribed or because they are subsidised by income from other courses. Please assume that the courses you have booked will run. We will advise you in good time, if for any reason a course has to be cancelled, in which case you will be refunded.
After selecting a course click on "add to cart" you will be directed to the payments page where you can pay either by PayPal or Credit/Debit Card (NB you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay using this website). If you wish to add another course to your shopping cart before payment you can select "continue shopping" this will direct you back to the courses page. You can keep track of your selections at any time by clicking "view cart" at the top of the page. After payment is complete you will receive a payment receipt from PayPal which contains a unique Transaction ID. This is proof of your booking no further receipt is necessary.
